  • Will Goo-Be-Gone work on nail polish?

My 3 year old thought she would try to paint her nails. She did a great job on getting it everywhere. Any thoughts on what will get nail polish out of clothes?

I don't think GOO BE GONE works on GOO! Much less nail polish.

It works well on cleaning off sticky labels on jars and glass.

        How about some paint thinner?

I use super clean floor cleaner for removing spray paint and what not. should work on nail polish. Comes in a purple jug or spray bottle. can get it at walmart or any autoparts store.

What about nail polish remover (which I believe is acetone that TFP mentioned)?

But I would test it in an unnoticeable spot first, in case it stains or discolors the fabric.

Correct. Most nail polish removers are made of acetone. And I agree on the test area.

I got some paint off a sofa with denatured alcohol with no damage to the fabric.

                            You can try this one:
1 cup liquid Shout, 1 cup powdered Oxiclean, 1/2 cup borax, 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup ALL laundry detergent.
Soak the clothes in hot water in the machine for 1 hour in the mixture and see if it comes out.
That's how a friend of mine managed to get melted crayon out of a load of clothes.
