Looking for Dr. recommendation

Well, I need a new Dr. now that I moved to the other side of Dallas. If any of you see a dr. anywhere between Plano-Sherman that you really like, let me know. I want a doc that takes the time to listen and not give the feeling of being rushed out the door. Preferably one that is current with the times and is not some old fart set in his old methods.

I'm also looking for opinions...do you feel a male doctor would be better suited to understand male issues? I like Dr. Dave's ideology of treating the patient and not the number approach.

Ultimately, I'll be suggesting a cardiologist referral from them but I also need a family/internal medicine dr. for the routine stuff.

My doctor is on the far west side of FTW so she is obviously out, lol. Somehow I've managed to keep the same PCP since the mid-1990's (back before they were called PCPs), and her referrals when needed or requested have been outstanding.

i just started using dr. brett young at baylor of mckinney off 380.

he asked me why i did not want a flu shot and just said okay to my answer. only thing i have so far, but since he did not push me into anything i would say i am happy so far.
