They participate in this disease called "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" by blasting ads all over the internet, tv, and radio trying to get these shoppers to come spend their welfare checks there earlier and earlier every year....suck it up bitch. You asked for it. Deal with it. I sat at home with the family, drank a little wine and beer...and ignored the Black Friday stupidity...there is NOTHING I need bad enough to go sit in line like sheep, get in fights for, or risk being beaten, robbed, trampled, or murdered for. Agreed. The whole thing is stupid. Maybe these stores will learn what with it seemingly getting worse every year, with some of them being looted/trashed. Maybe most of them will stop doing it. But if not, oh well. Let the stupid be weeded. Besides much of it is a scam anyway. They'll have like 3 mid range televisions that they're willing to sell at a fairly deep discount, just to get a shitload of people into the store. That's 3 total, not 3 different models.

I find the day after christmas has a lot better sales anyway. Maybe more like the following few days after christmas. Lot of new open box stuff that wasn't even used more than once and then taken back the next day. And sales to get rid of all the stuff they stocked up on, hoping to sell before christmas.

I went by Walmart around 8am on Friday morning for a new kettle and also snagged a bike for my 3yo daughter for less that $40 and was in and out in a few minutes. There were TONS of TVs and other stuff in the isles still.
