Got a toll bill for someone else with the same plate

I got a toll bill for someone driving on 290E in a SVT Cobra with the same personalized plate as mine. They did not provide a picture on the bill like NTTA. I called to say "nope" and find out what was going on. When the lady looked up the picture, she said it was an "SVT Mustang" with out of state tags. She claimed she could not tell from the picture what state it was but it wasn't Texas. When trying to figure out what was going on, I told her to swap a O for a 0 and look up the tag. Both came back to me. That seems weird.

Texas doesn't use an o. There is only 0 (zero).

There are no O's in TX plates. The system will autocorrect to 0. That's prob why both came back to you.

I've heard that Texas doesn't use the letter "O", I bet the system autocorrects to a Zero (0), I would assume that's why they both came back to you.

Just guessing, but maybe they only use zeroes, and if she typed in "O", it could have autocorrected.
