Anyone heard this about fixing a nail in a tire?

Theres a local place that does patched inside but they use some kind of glue. I will need to keep asking around for plugs. 300+ for this tir and hate to have to get new one. But like what was said, i might just have to eat the cost for a new one. Arghhhhh
Will get certs this time if i get new one

Same here. I work at a landfill and have roofing companies dropping nails everywhere as I drive into work I had 2-3 plugs in each tire. I have since replaced all of my tires and got the Discount Tire certificates.... and I'll be damned I haven't run over a single nail in 4 months. But yeah, if you're looking to buy some time, plug it yourself.

Just patch it yourself. They tried to feed me the same bs with a runflat tire. It was nearly new and they wanted me to buy another one. I left and patched it myself for a couple bucks.

I've had discount put a patch in a mickey Thompson et street before, I just tipped the guy $20. Patch held out longer than the rest of the tires did
