  • hpp slow?

    Anyone had a car at HPP that stayed there for a loooooong time?

      I dropped off a motor to get checked out by their machine shop guy in Houston and never got it back

        So slow as balls is what your saying if your lucky.... that sucks. Customer of mine had a 95 turbo cobra over there for a tune and a egr issue, came back 6 months later with no tune and a egr issue lol but i hear they do good work.

              Only used them once, for a electrical gremlin. They had the car 3-4 weeks and had a "part time" guy on it...

              Car broke down on the way home. (Ending up being a issue with the harness.)

                    They are more than just slow.

                    They installed the 4.30s on my '00 GT some years back. And, of course, they whined like crazy. Later, when I had greenbullit install my 4.56s, what was found during disassembly was a whole lot of incompetence (My words, not his). Bad wear pattern, mixed matched ring gear bolts, improper pinion depth, etc.

                    All I can say in regards to your situation is good luck.

                        That was the feeling I got when I went in forever ago. (Sure that is even more true these days.) Can't say I blame them but at least tell me to fuck off up front instead of wasting everyone's time..

                          You can call up and get an appointment to have a tune done. Yeah, they are busy and you might wait 2 months but Manny delivers a kick ass tune.
