If it hasn't gone on for a long time and was more of a one time deal, it's possible they'll waive the late fees if you call them and explain the situation. They may prefer you to open an NTTA account before waiving fees but its been done. I've called them in the past and had fees waived. I don't recall the situation...probably for a car not on my account but still registered to me.

I've yet to have a utility that I didn't receive a bill for. GTFO with that nonsense.

X2. I'd fight them on that alone. If they had done the job they are paid for then they would have received payment prior.

Zipcash should have been sending bills to the vehicles registered address.

Is it up to date and correct?

It's bull shit. It happened to me last year when they changed my credit cards to have a chip. Well apparently even though I told them to pay off any balance, they didn't do it for the month previous and I ended up paying around $300 for two cars because they had no idea what they are doing when they changed collections companies the same time credit card changed to have chips.

I got a notice this week my car with a toll tag has a pink zip cash bill. Are you kidding me, it blows my mind they can't view a plate to see it has a toll tag assigned to the registered owner, and that the registered owners adress is the same as the registration, is the same as the toll tag

Oh just got off the phone with ntta (after a 20 minute call wait time) and she informs me that my chip in the tag must be malfunctioning, I ask her why only one entrance station is sensing me bills, they put me on hold.

Her official answer is maybe that entrance gets high traffic and it is just reading plates. She says she is going to send me a new tag but I can still use my car and they will bill through my plate number. I asked her to repeat what she just aaid, she does and asks if I have any questions. I asked why it didn't bill through my plates to begin with then, and she gives me the same BS story about maybe that's a high traffic entrance.

Anyways of course I only receive the pink notices, and she tells me there is a previous month of may still outstanding. Oh but it looks like I can give you the toll tag discount rate on that too.

Freaking stupid. So 30 minutes later my bill is a whopping $6. Waste my time

I sold a truck and got hammered with toll bills once, it was a nightmare. Now I pull plates off vehicles I sell and avoid tollways like the plague lol.

it's much different. You know when your utility bills are due. Tolls are pretty goddamn random. I received an invoice for a year and a half after the date of the first toll a few years ago

Once my meter broke and my bill was $5.35 for 3 months, during the summer lol. But sadly, they eventually came out and replaced the meter.

Since the NTTA is private, does anyone have hopes that privatizing roads is catching on? Off topic I know
