I currently have Time warner Cable internet and cable bundle. I'm paying $175 a month, and I don't even get premium channels. About the only channels we watch are the basic antenna channels, discovery, DisneyJr, Sprouts, and Boomerang. Really all I care about is internet. I do have Netflix, and Vudu already. What options do you guys have? I was considering just paying for Internet, and running an HD antenna.

There are a few lengthy threads on this. Here are two I remember:

I have internet only. I have a subscription to Netflix and Hulu for $8 a month and get over 120 channels live streaming with PlayStation VUE for around $50 a month. I dig it!

I had directv with every channel but now just have an hd antenna and amazon fire tv w/ kodi installed.
          This thread discusses kodi http://www.dfwmustangs.net/forums/sh...highlight=kodi
I have an amazon fire stick loaded w/ kodi running the beast if anyone is curious and wants to try it out, I'd be happy to lend it out for a few days.

Does PlayStation Vue allow multiple streams at the same time? I can't seem to find an answer to this on their website.

I started Internet only (Netflix, Hulu, Frontier) and am sitting at $65 a month between all 3 (sister pays Hulu). The only thing I am missing is the ability to "surf" channels...you know, when there is nothing specific you want to watch but hoping something catches your eye.

Ill be picking up Playstation Vue next month, going with their $55mo package since I have PS+

We just ended U-verse at the house and went to TWC for internet service only, have SlingTV running through a Roku and AppleTV. Did splurge and got the NFL Sunday Ticket app with the money that's no longer going to AT&T.

I recently got a Tivo Bolt. It would be perfect for how you plan on viewing. I was doing the same in regards to an antenna, but the wife "needed" a few things I couldn't easily get from an antenna so we ended up getting a cablecard for it. We love it. Works great.

Get an antenna and an amazon fire stick or fire tv then download Kodi and then the addon Exodus. Research it a bit. All free and you have access to literally every show and movie ever. Game over

As in watching from multiple locations on the same account? I'm not sure I have not tried.

Sounds like a game plan. Any recommendations on antennas?

That does work, we have it on my account on both devices, I was in the living room and I was watching something, and Lyn was in another room watching something different.
