Many places use a laser that requires no cutting & peeling back a flap which means the healing & recovery might be easier than some of these ya'll are describing from 2007. My wife got it and was out of the office in 10 minutes with perfect vision. Next day has the dry scratchy eyes but after that was home free.
Yeah no doubt they've gotten better! For my surgery they still used the microkeratome.
