Decatur swap meet today

This is the first year in probably 20, that I have missed all the swap meets. Maybe next year I will be back in the "buying" mood.

I was there yesterday, and it was a small turnout compared to previous years. Maybe the rainy forecast scared away some vendors.

I went out this morning. As said, it was small. The south field and buildings were empty. Most prices were through the roof like $940 for a set of restorable 1948 Texas plates.

But I was able to find good deal on some harder to find parts. Picked up a set of rear fenders for my 48 for a bill, some Texas vehicle "Historical" documentation for my 37 and a wagon full of small stuff.

Did not find anything and was the smallest turnout for the location that I can remember.
Oh well that is how it goes.

This fall meet is never as big as the winter meet. Nonetheless, it was so dang hot and a waste of time and gas.
