I don't know who the dealer is, but there is a parking lot full vette's from the years you mentioned as well as examples of everything else to current.

Up here by my work in Addison, Midway/Kellway, can't miss 'em...

Just really got my mind set on a 70's style right now.
I think his point is that the fish got low balled, fucked in the catfish asshole and you paid half price. The worst part was the fish explaining to his fish friends why his asshole smelled like redneck

You may not like them but bang for the buck and responding to mods they are hard to beat. I have a high-140s trap C5 that I bought for low 20s with only 19k miles and it's a lot nicer than any Fox.

                        Fucking truth.

I will have a '69 Corvette in my stable one of these days. However, it will have newer LSx motor and t56.

My dad had several ('71,'76, and '77). The mid-'70's were some of the worst GM years ever, quality-wise. When those cars were new, they just weren't built well. His '71 was by far the better car. They really softened up the suspension in the mid-'70's, because they weren't really that much of a performance car. Remember, the smog motors of those years were only making 200hp. The up-side is that they can be found cheap.

I've been saying for a while that I think the 68'-72's (steel bumper era shark) are going to be a good investment...they are slowly creeping up in value and at the same time there are still a lot out there for reasonable money (esp 71-72's).

I think the '73 (chrome rear/plastic front bumper) was still acceptable. The '74+ had ill-fitting bumpers for several years.
