Are smart phones worth it?

You guys with smart phones think they are worth the price? My phone plan is 45 bucks a month, and getting the smart phone would add a 30 dollar price on top of that. Thanks

It depends. If you can adapt to it then it is definitely worth the 30 bucks.

I wouldn't recommend it for someone like my dad who doesn't even use the contacts list on his cell phone.

Look at the features on the phone you're thinking of getting and see if they appeal to you.

i am waiting for the G2's price to drop so i can smash my HD2.

All my surfing is done via phone.

My wife uses her G1 for her laptops interwebz. Once you get one you won't go back, you will learn a new level of anger when they mess up though.

Man They are like a swiss army knife to a cub scout.

I love mine even tho the the battery life is short compared to a reg phone.
It is to be expected, and mine is on a charger all day at work. When not at work or on the weekends i just charge it at night.
