I won't touch a volvo with a ten foot pole. I see them go STUPID cheap at auction. Only one that I would consider is an S60 T5 with a manual transmission.

If you're serious about getting back on track with the Mustang, sell the Volvo, and buy a DD beater that doesn't need any work. Resources are finite, time sometimes more so than money, any of either spent on a POS anything is a waste.

I know very little about them. I was always under the impression they were dead reliable until there weren't. Parts expensive? Hard to find?

Or, if you need something cheap to get you by for a while I am selling my Explorer/5.0L/AWD. I'll make you a deal on it. Drive it for a while then yank the 5.0 and 8.8 for other projects like I planned on doing.

That thing is clean. How many miles on it?

197k. It has a few cosmetic issues but overall a good clean car.

We had a S-60 T-5 back when they were owned by Ford. It was a good car, great mpg's, comphy and had decent power. Right before the warranty ran out I put some tires on it and took it to Volvo of Dallas for an alignment, they said it needed $800.xx worth of strut bushing/brackets and sway bar bushings. I showed them the warranty card, got it all fixed for free and traded that bitch in for my MKZ a few months later.
I believe they only way to own a Euro car of any kind is too lease them, once they run out of warranty, everything is sky high maintain or to fix...

Yeah, I see them now that I'm not on my phone.

Still looks pretty good for near 200k

Me? I sold it to buy the green 95 mustang then sold the mustang and got the Volvo. I still have my s10 I alternate driving duties with the Volvo but hell its almost 20 years old and has 213k miles on it.

I wish I still had the blazer, the fucker was spotless and ran great once I fixed everything.
