She would write a neat, Harry Potter type story about how it had magical powers, blah, blah, blah. Then, she would put it on ebay. I shit you not, I saw several auctions where people paid over $50. People will buy ANYTHING on ebay.

          Since nobody has bothered to ask...what fucking kind of beanie baby is it? Why would someone pay anywhere near that for a stuffed animal? It doesn't even go fast or shoot stuff!

              Don't bother assigning practical value to a collectible. Either it brings someone some kind of joy for its subject matter or rarity, but it ain't gonna help you now the lawn.

                I have 2 of those as well, but they're packed away. There were so many errors in that year/set. The corrected Billy Ripken cards ended up being worth more if I remember correctly.
