3m offers basically the same product but it's sold as casting tape to the medical industry. It'll do most of what they say but so will the 3m stuff and it's cheaper.

i banged my electric line by the pole with a bush hog . busted the pvc pipe. used this stuff ad it did what they said. hard as a rock.
