That area is mostly corporate type settings, any warehouse/distribution type buildings are in commercial area's. I would think that if they want room, the I-20/I-45 area would suffice. They can also take advantage of Amazons delivery market share.

And if they move to Plano, I ain't buying shit from them!

I live northeast of McKinney. I always get my Summit orders in 2 days without paying extra.
I did order some mini tubs from Jegs that shipped from Lewisville. I got those in less than 24 hours without extra shipping...

          Sucks paying sales tax though

That's the same downside of Amazon.. Paying taxes sucks. With larger $ purchases I sometimes buy items sold by other companies, but fulfilled by Amazon. That way I get the good shipping but no tax. The down side is you also lose Amazon's customer service, which I also love.

32,000 sqft will be for the retail store. The entire building is going to be 700,000. Per the article above.
The facility, including a 32,000-square-foot retail superstore, will be located on 48 acres at the southwest corner of Interstate 20 and Texas 360.

That's what the article coolcat posted says. Probably on the empty lot on the SW corner between Bardin and S. Watson. The city gave them some tax credits and probably helped along the land acquisition.

Hmm.. Wonder if they'd have any interest in hiring a Hub store manager from autozone?

Would be nice to work around cool parts/builds/people/projects.

Anyone know anyone who has ever worked for summit?
