Performing in a movie is considered acting. You can pay to film yourself tucking a ho and it is legal.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

You do realize that almost all of them are filmed in the San Fernando Valley or Las Vegas right? It's not because the venues are cheaper.

Also prostitution is legal in Nevada under certain circumstances and is well regulated.

So really both would be considered illegal here as they are in most of the rest of America.

There's a fairly large studio in downtown dallas, the company I used to work for had to inspect/tag the fire alarm and extinguishers there annually. It's interesting to say the least.

Its a pretty simple answer, the adult film industry is regulated and has standards and practices, prostitution has none of this.

Eh, not so fast. Prostitution would have those if it were legalized. That's like saying heroin is illegal and alcohol isn't because alcohol is regulated.

For what it's worth, Gary Johnson wants to legalize AND regulate prostitution to make it safer. It makes sense.
