  • Powder Coating

It's been a long process, but I finally acquired the powder coating company that I've been coveting (and using) for some time now. It's a turn key operation, and we'll be moving Clean Ridez to the same complex. We'll essentially be able to do complete sets of wheels, suspensions, engine parts, and so much more, completely in-house.

We have one of the largest ovens in North Texas, at 10x10x30. This means that we can coat a vehicle chassis of almost any length.

I'm really excited about this opportunity.

Very nice! Any idea on pricing yet? The 18 inch "premium" rims on the Fusion are peeling really bad. Been wanting to get them powder coated but have no idea what that even entails or runs cost wise.

$500 for a set of wheels. That's us breaking them down, blasting, coating, mounting, and balancing.

How much for a complete truck frame? 130" or so wheel base.

Ford did have a recall on those for the finish and replaced them...

Yes it would need to be blasted. We could scrape the undercoating and clean it that saves you guys time before blasting. Satin Black.

It's a 2009. Never have been able to find a recall notice or TSB on them. I know the dealers were replacing them under warranty fo a while...but the majority of those wheels were peeling withing 10k miles as well. Id love to get these shits replaced if that were still possible.

WOW. Talk about stepping up into the big leagues!

Now go hit every fabricator, hot rod shop, car builder, etc around and get that business.

Whenever I decide to stop making changes, I intend to blow apart my motor and get a bunch of stuff powder coated.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

It's an operating business that I purchased. We're running evening shifts during the summer, but I'll be there Monday through Friday 7am - 6pm starting August 15th.
