  • First world problems, vehicle storage?

I own a regular house with a 2 car garage that I do actually keep one vehicle in. I am looking at acquiring another vehicle that would need to be garaged or stored inside. I also wouldn’t mind keeping the one vehicle that I keep in the garage somewhere else as well. Where do you guys with more than 2 vehicles keep them and what are my options for safe storage of spare vehicles that would be convenient to get to them to use when I wanted to?

I've got a 3 car garage and I still have to park my daily on the driveway... cow skin problems I guess. Wife gets one garage spot for her Tahoe, My 92 notch gets one, then there's 2 workbenches/3 Motorcycles/lawn equipment/etc in the 3rd spot. I've considered getting a shed to put a lot of that in, but then that would mean my reloading stuff would have to go in there as well and I don't think I'm down for that.

My daily stays outside as it is now. I will have 2 vehicles that need to be stored but only have the space for one as I have all the same shit you do in the garage in addition to the one vehicle that I put in there.

We park both our cars in our two-car garage.

I have a 60x20 shop space that I rent for $475/mo for my three other cars plus parts/tools/etc.

I have a 3 car. It works, but space is still tight.

Next house is getting a shop.

This, but I want more of a Hangar then a shop.

Yeah. I think I'm going to do one big gigantic door.

Where is this at? I pay over half that for my storage and cannot work on anything there.

How much is insurance on something like that, and what does it cover/not cover?

No, dude. That leads to his underground garage with spots for the other 49 high-dollar sportsmobiles.

I've got a small (150k) business property policy on the space, and the cars are insured separately with Hagerty. I think premiums are about $300/yr for the shop and $350/yr for the cars. I don't recall all the coverages.
