  • Traffic on Dallas North Tollway @ 3:00 on a Friday

Taking the wife and my parents to a very last minute surprise Cirque du Soleil show in Frisco. We have to pick my wife up in Duncanville at 2:30 and the show starts at 4:00. Are the North Bound lanes decently clear on a Friday at 2:30 to 3:30? We have reserved seats, but the start of Cirque shows are amazing...the musicians usually walk out with the characters and pick on audience members while playing live...it's crazy.

if you are leaving duncanville at 2:30pm exactly you should have no trouble.

    god bless.

Excellent. Thank you. I don't ever travel up that far. I told my wife "be ready at precisely 2:30 or I am leaving you behind"

I went to Cheaper than Dirt in Mckinney on Saturday and in the middle of a Sat. afternoon I hit around 5 traffic jams...didn't know if the DNT was the same way on a weekday.

I can almost guarantee it will be good to a younger audience. My wife and I have been in love with them ever since we saw Varekai and Quidam. We saw La Nouba at Downtown Disney (permanent show) in 08' and loved it too. The live music is what impresses me, no canned tape...all live very talented musicians.

The reason I am going last minute is they are running a 40% off sale through 2/16/2011.

The characters are lively, costumes colorful, music is outstanding and NOT normal (mostly foreign language with lots of wind instruments) and each show has a unique story line, it's not just a bunch of random acts, each ties into the story somehow.

I recommend it highly, even before going. Nothing tops Varekai, here is my favorite act from that show.

                Fast Forward to 1:40
