      Since 1985.

Whereas his position and stance was arguably needed in 1985, it seems out of touch with today's values.

Try Mullah - Until early 20th century, the term mullah was used in Iranian hawzas (seminaries) to refer to low-level clergy who specialized in telling stories of Ashura, rather than teaching or issuing fatwas. Today, the term mullah is sometimes used as a derogatory term for any Islamic cleric. It is common in Iran to refer to an ayatollah or other high level clerics, as a mullah, to ridicule his religious authority.[citation needed] In recent years, at least among Shia mullahs, the term ruhani (spiritual) has been promoted as an alternative to mullah and akhoond, free of pejorative connotations.[4]

They do have a lot in common. No college education, no real work experience and they are all in positions of power.

The one difference is that Jackson has actually accomplished something with his life.I don't agree with his politics but the man gets results, he was personally responsible for freeing a Navy POW, 22 hostages from Cuba and he probably helped save many others from being murdered by Hussein in the first gulf war.

Sharpton and Price are just hatemongers because it gets them a paycheck. They aren't qualified for anything else.

Really? In front of an elementary school? That is low and the worst place to stage that stuff. Kids shouldn't have to be dealing with or seeing protests.

Wasn't needed then, isn't needed now.

I don't want my son exposed to that type of situation. High school maybe, but not elementary.

he was angry because all the rich white kids went to one particular elementary school in FW and the black population of the school was about 0.00%, and still is to this day lol

                              We agree to disagree.
The political climate in Dallas was much different in the early 80s than it is now.

Attacking hate groups with hate never works.
Mr. Lovell handled that situation in the best way possible.
His actions made Price look like the ass instead of both looking like fools.

Hardly, just being objective. Try it sometime.

Sure was, back then we also had Al Lipscomb and Diane Ragsdale. These two where also treasures of the Dallas political scene.
