What the hell are you ranting about? I literally prefaced my statement with "if this went down the way they said".

Are you having a mental moment? Just chant it out of your system.

I completely agree that there are men and women on departments nation wide who have zero business being a cop.

But there are thousands and thousands of contacts every year. Traffic stops, warrant, DWI, even the mythical "warning ticket". Out of those thousands of contacts every year, it is an incredibly tiny amount that "go bad".
Yet JUST LIKE the BLM pot stirrers, some of you here act like it is an epidemic, like the world is chock full of bad cops.
Running around with your hair on fire screaming "OMYGOD!!!!!OMYGOD!!! ALL COPS ARE BAD!!!
                  Get over yourselves.

I find it sad how many people that post here are such frothing at the mouth FTP'ers. I mean, really, some of you have such a deep hatred for those wearing the uniform and badge...and only because they wear the uniform and badge....that it must be a psychological problem.
Some of you need to get help.
I see it as the result of (liberal) media saturation, both by broadcast outlets and as presented by some otherwise inconsequential souls desperately seeking their moment of online fame.

Not too long ago it was cops shooting animals and now it's turned to black people. Flavors of the month. Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" is timeless.

Not really. Whatever you think is fine though don't really care.

Kinda on topic but does anyone feel like the supporting police "thin blue line" and all the other associated stuff kinda comes off as propaganda to a degree? Its almost like its being shoved down our throats for another reason.

I find the push to make doing anything to a cop a hate crime to be another unconstitutional push to provide additional protection to an already protected class.

Is that why you bring it up as much as possible on here? It is as if you think you are the only one who is capable of driving a truck.

I think the thin blue line stuff is knee jerkish. We sure as hell don't need to give them more power because of it. They should do the job they signed up for. You don't get a job as a plumber and say I'll never have to get shit on my boots.
