I've been looking for a good deal on a house that has at least .5 acre of land on it. A nice houe for a good price too. Well I finially found it. This house was built in the mid 80's it sits on an acre of land and is 2400sqft. The only bad part is that it doesn't have a garage, but that isn't a big deal because I'm going to be building a shop in the back. Here is a link. It is the 3rd house down. Just click on pic and it will show all the rest.

The last "manufactured" house I saw was about a notch above a double-wide in quality. Windows, insulation, plumbing, and electrical were a little suspect. I'm not trying to discourage you, but go in with eyes wide open.

FreighTrain would never go manufactured.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Good looking house, but electric heat will suck in the winter. Also, be sure to ask for a better copy of the survey that has a seal on it if you're planning on financing the house (lender requirement).

(I don't agree, that's just what they've told me).

I would check the local city/county building codes for the shop first. When the ex and I bought our house on .92 acre I thought I would be able to build a steel building. Come to find out that if the building was over 200 sq ft, it had to be 80% masonry.
