That's a good lookin car. I'll have to look into how maintenance is on them
They also made the Acura TLs in a 6spd with AWD...

For under $20k you could pickup a used 2015-2016 GTI. 4 doors, <3k lbs, with a tune they are making 300hp.

I'll have to test drive the GTI, not sure how well I'll fit.

      Is this a stupid idea?

My wife's ex husband has one of those GTI-R model. He's 6'2" and absolutely loves it.

Care to elaborate? Chargers were suggested. Why not the wagon version? Everyone knows wagons > sedans.

Oh, I'd rather have a wagon as well. After seeing a few freinds/coworkers go though some dumb shit with their Dodge Challengers/chargers/trucks. Mostly interior problems, Don't think I'd own a dodge.

I second the G37/CTSV ideas. Both great cars, both RWD (a necessity as far as I'm concerned in a fun sedan). Neither has the euro tax on parts and labor.

I like the idea of the magnum, but Chrysler products just seem made to break. That may be more bias than science, but that's my impression. Never owned one myself.

ISF if you can stretch. 50k miles and ours has been flawless. One car I don't ever plan to sell.

Lexus as far as luxury cars goes. Just as nice, if not nicer than most euro trash cars and maint will not bend you over. These cars are just getting broken in at 150k.

I just got a g35s sedan. It's not bad at all. I'd got for the g37. I'd absolutely buy another Infiniti after having mine.

It really depends what you're after. The first couple years of the G35 are kind of raw, but in a wonderful way. Mine was an 03 and I loved it. That said, they have a handful of things that always fail (Bose radio, suspension bushings).

They refreshed the car every 2 or 3 years, and each time it got more refined (good for luxury) and a bit more numb (not great for seat of the pants fun). They also got faster, so that may help.

I liked the 03-06, except for the guages. I found a swinging deal on an 07, which, I feel was a massive step up across the board, and light years ahead of my honda.

Now I just need this bitch to last me through the first few years of practice.

I definitely agree. I enjoyed the driving experience of the older G35s, but I absolutely hated the gauges and interior lighting. It really left a bad taste in my mouth for the G series cars. But the glowing reviews for the 37 are obviously gonna make me go try one out.

Funny I just got rid of my Ranger for a new daily too. I got a Mazda 3 would like to have got the Mazdaspeed 3 or even a Focus ST but outside my (MPG) budget. (Already have 2 race cars...)

I even thought of a Magnum like you mentioned but the last year they where made was 2008 and they get crap mileage which isn't what I was looking for.

I like the newer STIs for a fun daily IMO.

The STI is exactly why I'm eyeing the LegacyGT or SpecB. Seems like a slightly more refined WRX
