                  The last time DPD had an officer killed in downtown they rolled in hot to the bus station and shot everyone who was black just to be sure they killed the shooter who was also black. 9 dead including the shooter and 20 plus wounded. It is going to suck (more then normal) to be black in this town for quite sometime.

                        So are they saying both in custody? Saw something like that a few mintues ago and now a different outlet is sayin 1 in custody?

                          It happened in the mid to late 80's so I doubt there is a link to it to be found anywhere. I will have to look at the officer down memorial page to find the officer who was killed.

                          Edit: Officer John Glenn Chase 1/23/1988. 1988 was a bad year for the DPD.

                                I can't tell if the suspect is under fire or if the suspect is receiving covering fire. They play around the pillars as the pillars are being filled with large caliber bullets, the suspect is able to come around the outside of the pillar and shoot the officer in the back and execute him.

                                The amount of rounds being impacted on the pillars is insane, you can also see sparks of ricochets hitting
