I dare say you are one of the few Americans who have not taken the murder of these 5 heroes personally, though.

I picture you sitting at your computer mumbling, "shouldn't have gone down this road...." LOL
Not sure why I would regret "going down this road"? You think I care about your opinion I guess.

I also hate to see what happened to these guys. They sure didn't deserve it. However that doesn't mean that I can't be concerned about how this was handled. Adults sometimes do that, you know, have reservations about things.

    Sorry about your ego though.

I don't think my ego is the one bruised, BJ. Why didn't you respond to any of the other guys countering your "thoughts" on this topic? I say you are taking this personally, as in butthurt big time.

I will never look at a butter knife the same now!

I am tired of mocking you over this topic though. Gonna go to the prayer vigil at the FW Police and Fire memorial off 7th street. Maybe I will see ya there, huh? LMAO

Well, I was waiting for you to respond and tell us all why I was wrong.

But I guess you have a candlelight vigil to go to at 4:15pm (?)

          Or something involving butter knives.

How do you not get that police are not there to execute but to arrest and using drones with explosives is not even attempting an arrest but rather an execution. I'm not even allowed to use hollow points in a war zone because of undue suffering. Police are not executioners or should not be. If you can get a drone to him with explosives you can get a flash bang to him and then execute an arrest with SWAT.

                  • And Obama mentioned himself 45 times. In fact, talked about himself before even mentioning the slain officers.
President Obama referred to himself 45 times over the course of the speech he delivered Tuesday evening at the memorial service for the five Dallas officers killed in the attack on Dallas police officers last week.

Did you just say you thought it would be a good idea to flash bang a guy with IED's and take him into custody? So much fail in that plan I don't know where to start. Second. What does the fact that you couldn't use hollow points have to do with anything? Also I beg to differ on what would make someone suffer more. I clean through and through or a hollow point disconnecting major organs as it tears through your body. Besides either depends on where the shot hits.

                        • If Black Lives Matter why do blacks continue to kill each other in Chicago everyday? Has Obama ever mentioned this even once? A real president would address this if he really cared about black people. It's a lot easier to spark anarchy across a nation if you just focus on a white cop shooting a black with a gun. Using race is like pouring gasoline on a small fire.

The prohibition of expanding bullets is set forth in numerous military manuals.[5] The use of expanding bullets in armed conflict is an offence under the legislation of many States.[6] The prohibition is also supported by official statements and other practice.[7] This practice includes that of many States which are not party to the Hague Declaration.[8]

Evidently setting off high explosives was a great idea so you have a problem with setting off a flash bang or deploying CS?

I didn't say you were wrong, I was just arguing about the theory on hollow points.

Yes, flash bang and apprehend is a terrible idea. I have had flash bangs thrown at me and kicked them during multiple active shooter courses. Sometimes you don't even notice them going off. One way guaranteed no more lives were at risk, every scenario you have put forth does not. CS and the guy runs out with IED's, bang you're dead. Fuck who knows, he could have had hand grenades. I have seen those over the years a few times so don't say they are a rare bird in nature. No one knew what he had and he was hell bent on killing people. It's not like he was maybe not the guy. He was the guy, he was still a threat, we are trained to eliminate the threat.
