    And how many steps is this from DPD using a drone with rockets because they don't want to risk officers because someone is barricaded and taking shots at officers in the future? Since when are police authorized to use explosives to kill (not make a breach to reach) a suspect?

    Yeah, I see no slippery slope or violations here at all. If it keeps someone safe I guess it's permissible for the state to lob explosives at a suspect.

          I thought they released the suspect/s in the Mercedes stating no connection to the shooting last night.

            From the scenes on the news where we can see 3 officers killed in the street, there was only one shooter. The other 3 possibly were conspirators. The high perched position was taken after the shootout on the street when the suspect forced his way into the building

            After engaging 2 officers at the end of the street the suspect killed the officer behind him in the pillars, moving his was back where he encountered another 2 officers who arrived on the scene in cruisers, he critically injured them and then went into the building.

            That's what I've gathered from the roof top cell phone footage taken of the scene, and from the video footage of the 2 officers being drug from the street in front of the bank of america building

                    If anyone uses deadly force to harm the public. I personally feel that the police should use whatever means they need to in order to protect human lives. Had the suspect laid the gun down and walked out at the direction of the police negotiators....and then the blew him up. Yeah I would say that was across the line. However, he had already said he intended to kill more people and more officers specifically. So as the commander of the situation, would you send in officers???? He has wounded 11 officers and killed 5 officers. Exchanged gunfire for at least an hour while saying he intended to kill more people. So you seriously think they should not use any and all means needed to neutralize him?


                    I guess I will just leave it at this. I PERSONALLY feel that if a person is showing the intent and desire to kill....after already doing so.....there are no rules on taking him/her out. That person that killed and is currently trying to kill more people chose whatever fate that is given out.
