no, Egypt is very forward/modern compared to many muslim nations...

there are still women who wrap up completely, but there are a lot of women who dress in what we would consider normal every day attire

Do they trim the bushes? or do you need a weed wacker to locate the honeypot?

The news media typically goes above and beyond to protect the identity of rape victims. Hopefully, the worst of it was being beaten and being recovered before she was actually raped. The term sexual assault is broad, ranging from unwanted advances over clothing to attempted rape, rape, and sodomy.

I'm guessing if she was raped, they'd be PRETTY tight lipped and respectful of her privacy. As it is, "Sexual assault" tends to bring out worst case senerio thoughts, and illicit more interest.

Looks like she wasn't raped according to this article. It makes those evil Egyptian people who resist their government look bad though. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...656309184.html
“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods". I'm sure she was groped to all get out. Doubt she was raped.

I wonder how the media will spin this peaceful, misunderstood culture's actions?
