Ice...

It's summer time. I usually buy one bag of ice at QT, but $2 for one bag and doesn't last now but maybe 3 hours. I found a gas station off 35W and exit for 28th street that has bags for $0.79. Well that is sometimes out of my way.

Around the HEB area, any place that has good prices on bags of ice?

Have you checked prices at Spec's or whatever major liquor store is in the area? Buccee's has dirt cheap prices on ice but they aren't everywhere yet.

Sam's sells a 20# bag for $2.98.

Convenience store ice is usually 10 pounds or less.

There is a self service machine @ Bedford Rd and Brown Trail between the laundromat and the gas station.

$2 for 20lbs of loose ice, $2 for 16lbs of bagged ice. Takes cash or credit. Even plays Vanilla Ice while you wait.
