god bless.Originally posted by Ratt View PostI've had problems all weekend. Since Thursday night, really. As much as I hate the alternatives, I'm starting to seriously consider breaking contract and going elsewhere.
Same here. I called to inquire about cancellation fees as I'm under contract. The kind lady I spoke with did credit me for the intermittent issues I started having the last 2 or so weeks. And IIRC it was only $110 for me to break my contract that I'm under until Nov of 2017. I appreciated the credit but I'm still likely to cancel. Intermittent internet is not something I can tolerate as I work from home some. We also couldn't watch Netflix or anything else this weekend.
So, I need to start shopping service. I've heard nothing but bad about U Verse. I've had prior bad experience with TWC, but it's been over a decade since I used them. Google Fiber has no plans to be here any time soon. What else is out there? I'm in Irving. I'm on 150/150 service and do not want to step down in speeds.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I am finally ready to cancel my Frontier service after the wife finished her DVR'd shows.
Been looking at the TWC 100/10MBS for $44.95 (first 12 mos) but I cant find any fine print as to what the "normal" price is for just internet. I have my firesticks setup, PlayStation Vue as soon as I want it, just need to get the internet setup.
I had planned on keeping the frontier service but man this past weekend sucked something bad, could not even get Kodi to load unless I let it work for 5 minutes.Originally posted by Sean88gtYou can take white off the list. Originally posted by Tx Redneck View PostI was doin that all weekend as well. It was so sporadic, I'd switch to lte, load a page, switch back and test on fast.com and it was fine. Same with speedtest.net. I wonder if it was a high latency thing as that'll make the speed feel slow.
Everything seemed fine last night and this morning. A friend told me that when he called when his internet went down after the initial switch from Verizon to Frontier, they told him to try a hard reset of the ONT at his house, which is the junction box in the garage or on the outside of the house where the fiber meets the coax or ethernet that runs in your house. I was going to try it last night when I got home, but everything seemed to be back to normal.

Internet has been off for a few days and no remedy when I spent over an hour with tech support on the phone. They scheduled a tech to come out, but it was only between the hours of 8-6. Uhh, I have a freaking job. Screw them.
I just cancelled my phone, internet, and TV with Frontier a few minutes ago. Thinking about going with an antenna for a few channels and getting some sort of internet service, maybe TWC for that $45/month intro deal. Going to move in a year anyway. I wasn't watching much TV and with internet down for the past few days pushed me over the edge.
They did cancel without issue though, so that was cool. I wasn't under contract and was getting bent over for over $200/month...Ford
GM
Toyota
