Im on Frontier and no problems yet. They tried jacking up my bill but I found out I was out of contract with Verizon (2 years). So we disconnected service in my name and put it in the womans name.

I've been lucky so far (knocking on wood). Frontier hasn't screwed up my FIOS yet (beating on wood). As much as I loath Charter, I'm ready to jump to their blazing fast 30Mbps (oh God no) for Denton.

Charter would be smart to get their crap upgraded. There is a real opportunity for them to take over the market around here but I know they won't because...

Same here. Speed is what is was for Verizon (58 down/64 up). No increase in price. Performance as before. On a local neighborhood website out in this area Murphy/Sachse), similar problems are happening as i see on these posts..... many more having problems now as Frontier than with Verizon.

I can't stand Frontier. Never had any problems with Verizon, now I keep getting a shit connection and they're trying to charge me more per month. Fuck that.

We've been lucky, very few issues with Frontier since the switch. We only have internet and home phone, no TV service. Wonder if that helps with fewer issues?

As much as I despise Verizon, they had THE most reliable Internet here in N Tx, but that doesn't matter anymore since they sold us out to Frontier Communications. This shit goes down more than a $20 hooked on half priced night.
