I am wanting to start another project car and wouldn't mind saving some money starting with a wrecked one. I find many sites online, but I am not sure if there is a better place to start. I have the cash in hand for when the deal that I am waiting for comes available, but i have yet to find one. So far I have been using craigslist, ebay and random salvage auction sites. If anyone that has purchased/rebuilt cars or whatever before, I would really like some input or if you want to do the legwork for me I wouldnt mind paying a finders fee. Thanks as always.

Any of you deal with wrecked vehicles?

Usually it's more difficult to be approved for a loan on a salvage title vehicle because most insurance companies won't give full coverage to a salvage title vehicle.
Nationwide wouldn't even insure my 96 civic with a salvage title for liability. Made me sign up for a solo policy with progressive.

Flood car so most salvage yards aren't going to bid on it.

Those cars have an interesting design to them and usually cash the rails in front of the strut towers, this makes them easy to section. If there is damage in the towers or behind them stay away from the cars due to the possibility of non repairable structure damage. Rear end total losses can hide a lot more and get you stuck with a basket case.
