  • anyone have thoughts on the new fusion sport?

Its just one I am thinking about. AWD w/ the 2.7 ecoboost.

How does it compare to a base fusion with 2.0 ecoboost and AWD? That much different or is it only slightly noticeable in the end?

Is the A/C super freakin cold or is it crap? There is no in between for me.

How does it turn and park compared to the Altima, which I think is a little smaller? That's the only thing I have experience to compare it to in that size.

How comfy is it? On long trips? Easy to get in and out of? I realize that is subjective and probably deserves trying it out myself for a good answer.

Reliable? Noisy? Roomy? Visibility? Anything you got I'm interested in hearing.

I have a 2015 fusion and it's MPG is no where near what they advertise. Just FYI.

All of these questions can be answered in one test drive.

Not really. I'd have to find some place that has both to compare, and for the most part it would be a poor comparison with no point of reference. I've done a test drive in an Altima and a SHO. That was a couple years ago. Plus fuck a bunch of walking around in the heat looking at cars and playing with them.

If you are into leasing, some places will bring the cars to you to test drive.

Thanks, I've read that a lot. Not a dealbreaker for me, but I'm not expecting much from the 2.7 in terms of economy.

Any real regrets vs what you may have gotten in the same size/class? Or just the milage?

LOL that is about perfect for a lazy ass like me

Not sure I would want to lease anything, unless they had a real cheap lease. I've never looked at a lease, I always thought it was for people who drove their cars into the ground in a short time.

Overall I love it. This is the first car I've owned that I didn't have to push the seat all the way back. I'm 6'2" and I've had a 6' person sit behind me with no complaints. The remote start works up to 100 yards with direct line of site.

It was advertised at 22/32MPGS. I average 23MPGS. 80% of my commute is highway.

I have 2014 fusion and it gets 34-38 on the highway during long drives to AZ with the 2.0 non ecoboost. The wife loves it. in town it gets 26

All I can say is stay away from those places like D&M or AutoFlex or whatever they are called. D&M fucked me over, big time. It's mostly my own fault for believing their too-good-to-be-true deal, but they flat out lied, and there's nothing that can be done about it.

That's precisely how a lease is going to bite you in the ass. Don't lease.

Correctoamundo. They will charge you for excessive wear and tear.

I leased mine through 5 star. They were pretty clear with explaining why a lease may not be the best option.

I don't think there is a non-EB 2.0 in the Fusions (unless Hybrids 2.0 Atkinson cycle mills).
We have the 2.5L 4 pot and we get 35mpg on the hwy & 28 city.

From what I gather for 2017 there is a 1.5L EB, 2.0L EB and 2.5L N/A. The 2.0L EB can be had with AWD as well.

The Sport gets the 2.7 V-6 EB in AWD only. This thing is a beast, 325hp/380tq are the numbers I'm seeing, it should give the SHO's are run for their money.
