Drove both, 5.0 felt like it had more torque, and a bit quicker. My assessment right or wrong. How many times do I have to say it?

It might feel that way until it has a big trailer behind it.

I like the hemi and 8 speed combo that dodge has going. They feel really light on their feet driving around and the interior is pretty nice. I would have to say ford is really lacking in the technology dept when it comes to the radio and navigation. Dodge and Chevy has a much easier to use system and it is a lot more visually appealing. There are a few things I don't like about the new ford, the window switches are in a weird place and the exterior door handles feel cheap just to name a few. I have not rode in a new Chevy lately, '14 being the newest but the exterior is butt ass ugly imo. I have a '14 f150 with the 5.0 and imo it will pull anything that I will every want behind a half ton truck. I have pulled (not necessarily on purpose) close to 13k ish before (had 4 yards of gravel on a flat bed) and it seemed to handle it without issue. It has a trailer brake controller and seemed to have plenty of power pulling it. But usually I have 7-8k behind it with no issues. It does run a bit high on rpm but that is where it makes power, I have no problem with it. I am that guy who prefers a v8 in my truck as I like to have a nice exhaust note to listen to, a v6 just does not do it for me.

Honestly go drive them all and decide which fits you better. I have traditionally been a ford guy, but am seriously considering a dodge when it's time to trade in depending on what they have to offer.

I test drove both and went with a 2016 F150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Neither was a bad truck, but I found a much better deal on the Ford and if I was going to get a GMC I wanted the 6.2 and it is extremely difficult to find a non Denali 6.2.
