Do you avoid certain people because of their kids?

My nephews fear me so I have nothing to worry about. I don't mess with other peoples kids, if I did id have their asses in check.

I have one set of freinds that doesn't touch there child because "they don't want to break her spirit" . My wife and I joke about it all the time . There kid is bad and I just want to punt her thru a glass door . I will beat my kid in front of CPS if he needs it .

We're just anti-social in general these days. Staying away from other peoples bratty kids just gave us another lame exuse. lol

See, that doesn't bother me really. I know my friends and my kids well enough to know it's not a knock on my kids or their behavior at all. Hell, my kids are better behaved than SEVERAL adults I know. Just sometimes, people aren't in the mood to be around kids, or what they want to do, isn't a good environment for the kids (aka drink, watch football, yell and cuss at the tv, whatever) . Which I completely understand either way. I don't get my britches in a bunch over it, and I don't think any less of the people for it. Hell sometimes, I just don't want to be around kids period. In today's PC world, in business, etc, sometimes you just want to let loose. It's not a common occurence, but sometimes I need me time.

Man, I just really don't get out at all these days. I've buried myself in work to keep myself busy and to help ignore some other things going on. lol. About the only time I get out these days is customer dinners, or when Jared has something going on.

I did, just wasn't able to stick around long. I had food on the smoker for the super bowl the next day, so I was only there for two and a half hours or so.
