I have a friend who has a long time family friend that's daughter was run over and then throat slit, almost decapitated, to be found dumped in a dumpster. He tried to catch the guy before the cops could as he was fully intending on ending that mans life. If I remember correctly he was within a mile or so before the cops caught him. I'll be interested to see how the court hearings go.
