I have a cracked version of Pandora and Spotify. I'm not a fan of spotify's play lists, but it's great for listening to full albums. Pandora's playlists are better, but are very repetitive. Free with no commercials is nice.

While driving it's XM. Otherwise it's Pandora (commercial free) most of the time.

I also have an old 160gb ipod (5th or 6th gen?) that has not been plugged into a computer since 2008 or so. It's dented and scratched to hell, but there's some seriously good music on there - that's my 'dont give a fuck' music source for the garage, yardwork, etc when I don't want to worry about my phone.

My wife and I love our Sirius radio. As mentioned 5 months $25.

Most of my 32gb library of music is from torrenting while I worked at target since they had free wifi. Lately though I've noticed I can just google a song and find a free download

Not really sure why only one other person has mentioned Spotify. I thought it was way more popular than that. I switched from a Pandora subscription to a Spotify Subscription years ago, and I've never looked back. It has the same features as Pandora and the others, but you can also add exactly what you want, whenever you want, or stick to one artist and listen to a whole album from beginning to end, if that's what you prefer.

Granted, there are some artists that don't allow their music to be published on Spotify, but the great thing about Spotify is that if there's music that isn't on it, and you own it, you can integrate your library into the Spotify app, if yiou so choose.

Well worth the $10 a month for the premium subscription.

I generally just listen to music that I have bought and ripped to my iPod and phone (iPod classic stays in my truck connected to, and controlled by, my head unit).

But we also have Prime and I do use Prime music on my phone (to download songs). I don['t stream any music.

I've never used a phone for music. I have Spotify Premium on my work computer and my PS3 connected in the living room. I dig it.

I miss my HTC phone with a built in am/fm radio.

What irritates me is that it is getting very difficult to find a decent, simple portable am/fm radio with cd player anymore. I still actually listen to FM radio from time to time.

Spotify for specific songs and playlists, which can also be played without a cell or wifi signal, Pandora for random music

I do that now on my iphone. I just hate having to use my data for that. My old HTC was a real radio tuner.

I was using Google Music but just cancelled it today. I really like the service and it's worth the price but I don't drive enough to justify it anymore.

Most of the lists are either created by other people (you'll see their name on it), or something you've made yourself.

The ability to make your own playlist of every song/album/artist you want from any genre with their music library, and have it saved to your phone for offline play is a very, very nice feature.
