  • Things to do in Lexington Ky

Going there this weekend for a wedding on Sunday.

Any good grub places to check out or interesting whiskey distilleries I gotta go sample?

Buffalo Trace is about 40 minutes northwest (Frankfort)
Woodford is about 30 minutes west
Four Roses is about 30 minutes southwest (Lawrenceberg)

I'd go hit Buffalo Trace for bit. Take a tour, get some samples... they make a lot of really good labels. Great location, history, scenery, etc.
Four Roses is ok, nothing special.
Woodford is a very cool setting (the main building, but otherwise not overly incredible)

All of this. I was just there for a bachelor party a few weekends ago.

              Can't do all the distilleries.

Is there anything else I should hit up? BBQ joints? Moonshine stands? Cousin fucking stations?

If you can make the drive out to Makers Mark, do that. Awesome place, been many times.

                        Couple places to eat:
Find the best restaurants as seen on TV.
Putting warheads on foreheads since 2004

                        Pro-Touring Build

Lexington is beautiful this time of year, and in the fall, but I've only ever flown in, rented a car, and drove to my destination. We have a factory in Barbourville.

The original KFC is 2 hours south in Corbin. It's called Sanders Cafe, and they have a museum. Lots of ranches that raise race horses in that area.
