I think they always travel with 2 spares. Plus more back at home base.

the show I saw one of the planes wouldn't start and they still had enough for the show. so I assume they have spares. but may be wrong.

The story has changed now...they announced on the radio here that the Thunderbirds will NOT be flying in this weekends air show because the Thunderbirds are grounded until completion of the Air Force investigation into the crash.
