The "Harbor" in Rockwall dissappointing

Went there tonight for the first time. Its obvious the economy hasn't helped it any. Aside from 1 tobacco shop and 1 clothing store, I didn't see any other retailers. Several places were empty and a few restaurants that were flat closed. Seems like these developers would drop rent costs to attract business rather than run them off.

yeah i think the only good days are like fridays because they have bands play there and you can get your drink on, but i dont know if they are doing it yet or waiting for summer to come

It's pretty busy during the summer for sure. It's nothing to drive a long way for but since I live on the lake it's nice to venture over there sometimes. Friday nights in the summer is pretty much all high school kids though.
