No, and what is out now is 5 years newer than what we had.

      iBaby Monitor

We used the iBaby monitor. Worked great through our phones for audio and video. A little on the expensive side, but you can network more than one of them through the house if needed. Also, you can set it up so that you can watch it even if you're not on the same network.

Temp monitor is of little quality. You have to mount it high enough so that the little bastards can't get to it and that means the temp will usually be off compared to floor level. And God forbid you have it near a HVAC vent.

Most baby stuff is a complete waste of money.

Pretty sure for at least the first year, we don't have to worry about him messing with it! Mostly concerned about temps while he is sleeping

We have one that we got from a friend of ours. Its cheapy looking for we only use it when Crystal and I arn't in the room. The baby sleeps in the bassinet right next to our bed. Will be like that for a few more months.

We just had an audio monitor. We were in SF for his first year so our place was small. Back in Dallas we turned it on while we got in the pool at nights.

Are you cooking the baby, good grief. Maybe you should spend $500 less on a baby monitor and a get a thermostat installed in the room, or just get another window unit for your trailer

Lol why so worried bout the temp? If your house us only 1500' then how big of a temp difference could there possibly be? Also, sleep with the baby in the room for the first 6 months, you might think it sounds dumb or whatever, but after 2 days you will move the baby within arms reach of you. The wife and I put ours right in between us in one of those little baby beds for a few months, then in one of those combo playpen things. Hell he is 3 and still sleeps with us a couple times a week.

Monitors are largly a waste of money. We had two different audio only ones, one was a gift and the other we bought. Neither came close to the advertised range in a 1400 sq ft house. Twice a week or more we would have it randomly alarm that the units were too far apart and usually in the middle of the night.

Bassinet for 6 months next to the bed for fear of sids, then on to th crib and out of mommy and daddy's room. Leave both doors propped open so you can hear him scream, problem solved.

By the way - Snuza SIDS monitor was one of the best purchases we made (for peace of mind). That angel care crap that goes under the mattress was a complete waste of money.

Room temperature. There is a drastic difference from room to room on the end of the house that the bedrooms are on.
