OP, Sling TV has FSSW and they play the Rangers games on there. If pay 3 months in advance you get a free Roku 2.
Did they get their shit sorted out? I had it for two months and it never worked.

Hmmmm. I didn't see a FSS on roku, might have to plug up the tablet to the tv to watch them.

Granted you need a really good high speed connection and a decent router, but we watch all of our favorite HD programming (720) virtually lag free 90% of the time for free and no commercials. Is it perfect? No. Does it sometimes hiccup? Yes. On the overall though, we've never been so happy with a free solution....

We used to have direct Showtime through Hulu and cancelled it once we started watching through Kodi.

Depends on what you're watching it on. My recent experiences are with the following....

Roku 3 wireless - great, only one hiccup when watching the GSW vs OKC game
Xbox One hard wired - terrible experience
Iphone/Ipad/Apple TV mirrored - works well, no issues.

                      No problem

Now I got to thinking last night and after looking at Roku, seeing as I have a fire stick with Kodi already, I am not sure this would solve the issue once the cable company is cut 100%.

But, I also do not remember the FSGO app checking my subscription so not sure if that is something on the back end. I am wondering if you can access FSGO with just a basic cable subscription and a user profile. If so, then I will have access through that tool even after my package expires on 6/24.

Sucks though, still have to pay this months $280 bill

Has anyone found a good way to DVR from any of the major networks? NBC, FOX, ABC, etc.?

I'm ready to drop DirecTV and already have Netflix, Kodi, and getting Hulu shortly. My problem (really my wife's problem) is pausing and rewinding while watching live.

records OTA. You have to pay $15 a month but that's way cheaper than $100 or more.
