  • Modern day extortion?

Saw this posted on another forum and it thought maybe Canada is fighting back!

Theramman.com is a company that sells Mopar brake kits. However he claims a Canadian company is trying to extort him and have "hijacked" his web pages.

He's an idiot for not doing a little research and for not getting the agreement in writing. And turning over your password to your domain registrar? That's asinine.

He needs to call GoDaddy and have his account suspended or park the domain. He just needs his customer # and the email address he used to create the account. He's still the owner of the domain, unless it expired and they bought it. Customer domains are locked by default. They can't arbitrarily transfer it.

Well I was not saying the guy was smart. I knew his business reputation was less than good. I tried to talk to him at a swap meet a few years ago and it was less than productive.....but with the video. I thought it fit this forum well.

I haven't watched the video or know this situation, but I saw where The Diamond Doctor is claiming he is being extorted for like $3mm by some scammer who started a facebook page saying he sells fake diamonds.
