Peanuts are the fruit of the dirt. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, peanut-kabobs, peanut creole, peanut gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple peanuts, lemon peanuts, coconut peanuts, pepper peanuts, peanut soup, peanut stew, peanut salad, peanuts and potatoes, peanut burgers, peanut sandwich. That- that's about it.

The Exxon station in Cross Plains has/had a little setup in it a few months ago. Made the whole place stink, more than normal.

It's a little early in the year for boiled peanuts, at least for peanuts grown in the US. You've got to have freshly harvested, green, but not quite fully mature peanuts to get a good batch of boiled peanuts.

<--------grandfather was a peanut farmer in south Georgia. Love 'em but they're only good when freshly dug.

The Racetrack or Raceway in Dville has a small setup. Doesn't sound appealing at all

Real early, they are still planting.

The best stand you find around here serves Street Corn.
