    I actually feel like the opposite is happening. With youtube being as popular as it is and having a video showing how to do almost anything I think they're are more people then ever doing stuff on their own.

      I've seen a lot of VERY BAD instructional videos on there as well....and I know for a fact that many people have caused more problems by watching the wrong videos and doing what the idiots did in the video.

        I personally dont have a problem with this as long as people discuss why blank is bad. If blank doesn't work, use what you learned and try again. Before too long intrinsic and esoteric knowledge will become common info because of public facing iteration. Fast inverse square root for example.

            Popcorn ceilings gone, new texture and paint. Textured walls and knocked down and paint. Floor isn't done in that room yet but did one riom myself.
