  • Recommended Vinyl Guys?

I'm looking to have a vinyl stripe made for my car, and was wondering who might be recommended out here? I'm also thinking of blacking out my tail light panel, and was thinking that it would be best to have one of the guys who does wraps just cut me a piece for that as well, so that I can go back to silver if I don't like it...or once it gets old.

    Anyone have a recommendation?

    TIA.

Not sure on the price, but Sun Ray tint in keller off 377 does vinyl (as well as auto tint) theyve done a great job for me on tint, and they have all sorts of books of vinyl work theyve done, looked good.

Cool, thanks Wade. I know exactly where that place is, I never knew they did some vinyl work too. I'll stop in over there...not too far from me actually.

What kind of car? I do vinyl work in Arlington usually cheaper than most. Also what kind of stripe?

The Mustang in my sig...I'm looking to do something very similar to the standard 69' Mach I stripe, but I want it in red on a black matte background or either no background at all (just red). I can buy a repro stripe from Phoenix Graphics, but they only come factory colors, which would be red over gold...and I'm not about the gold at all....the rear portion also comes precut for the side marker, and mine have been removed...so I think my only option is going to be a custom stripe for it.

Here's what the stripe looks like factory (think of this in red with black background in the center and where it says "Mach I")...

I'm thinking maybe even a little smaller size for it too, perhaps more like this rendering without the center at all....

I'm also contemplating a solid black matte wrap to cover my tail light panel (that one should be easy).
