2. I acknowledge having been advised that the USML/CCLI property I purchased is controlled by the U.S. Government and in many cases cannot be transferred (exported, sold or given) to a foreign country, a non-U.S. Citizen/National or a non-Permanent US Resident without a valid State/Commerce Department export authorization. Should I transfer this property to a foreign country, a non-U.S. Citizen/National or a non-Permanent US Resident, I will obtain any required authorization before making such transfers. I will not transfer this property to countries, regimes and nationals targeted under the sanctions program administered by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control

I have a friend that's been trying to sell his off and on for the last year or so. He's currently doing a BBC swap since the 6.5 finally gave up. I can give you his contact info if you are serious but notice that the ones on Craigslist usually don't have tags, his does.

Highschool buddy's dad has two on his ranch in south texas that are both plated, inspected, and insured... I'll try and remember to ask next time I see him. We've had the conversation before because I desperately wanted one for a lake/hunting cruiser (and still do) but I've never had the cash available when I came across one for decent money. If memory serves he made it sound like it certainly wasn't as easy as walking in and transferring a title but wasn't the end of the world either.

The house across the street from us has one. If I was home I would walk over and ask.
How serious are you contemplating going down this road?
A/Cs are not the best, transmissions get hot fast, very uncomfortable ride depending on the seats. The newer redesigned seats are okay but the older ones were like sitting on a cushioned milk crate.Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Originally posted by David View PostGet one with an SF97 and got to the tax office. Register it as a Former Military Vehicle. Call it a day.
Form SF97 is a U.S. government-issued certificate that can be used to obtain a title for a vehicle. This form can be taken to your local titling agency.
Here’s How It Works
Bid for and buy a Humvee or other qualifying item
During Checkout, select from the following titling options:
Bill of Sale: $25, formal receipt of purchase
SF97: $50, U.S. government Certificate to Obtain Title for a Vehicle
Complete Checkout and make payment in full, then if applicable, apply for an End-User Certificate (EUC) within seven business days of the date of sale.
If your purchase requires an EUC, your request will be processed once your EUC has been approved. Please read important timing information below.
Timing
EUC: The EUC process, required for class-restricted government surplus equipment, is handled by the U.S. Government’s Trade Security Control (TSC) Office. We will provide you with the application, but once the form is submitted, processing time can vary and is not under our control. See Terms & Conditions. In our experience, the approval process can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks.
Bill of Sale: available within five business days.
SF97: Timing on issuance of SF97s will vary, depending on EUC processing time (if applicable) and volume of SF97 requests submitted to the DLA. Typically, buyers will receive their SF97 within 30 business days of EUC approval, though it can take up to 60 business days.
