Tear it down and waste money like they did with Texas Stadium probably.

We are the same way. We LOVE going to games, but it is zero fun when you are sitting there, baking in a pool of your own sweat.

We used to go to ball games with our baseball teams after we won championships, I remember spending a couple of games at the old ball park and a couple at the new one after it was built. It is just as nice today as it was then.

Fuck everything about going to a game in August.

        I welcome it.

What do you expect them to do with it? It's not like another team or sport is going to take it over. There is a slight chance it could be utilized as part of a hotel but most likely it'll be demolished for parking.

Ridiculous waste of money with little incremental economic benefit.

Whats wrong with the Ballpark now? Its a very nice park and I always sit 1st-2nd anyway, its always shady and a nice breeze, even in the hot days of summer, but that's what baseball is about.

Nothing, except to try to keep the rangers in Arlington, they are going to have to do something. Dallas is actively trying to get the rangers too.

I meant it is a waste of money to build a new ballpark. The one there now is perfect just the way it is. F*** indoor baseball!!

Oh, I see. Dallas is trying to steal the Rangers since JJ took the circus to Arlingtoghetto. I don't see where they could build a MLB park and Dallas doesn't have the resources to compete with that city especially since they just paid off the debt for Jerryworld.

The old Reunion Arena area could probably fit one.

Hah, like Dallas politics can get anything done. I'm just glad Fort Worth isn't in the mix for any of this mess.

It'll be where the B lot is now, which is the lot behind right field where season ticket holders park. Tax payers will pay $500 million using the existing 1/2 cent sales tax for Jerry World with the team owners picking up the difference. Projecting $73 million more a year in revenue with the new park.

It hasn't been designed yet so no telling what the final product will be. Luckily they won't have to spend that money buying up houses since they already use the property but it's going to suck for parking next season.
