Nah, my weeks have been < 40 since I left investment banking 4 years ago - I'm at about 35 now.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Does non-commute travel time count as work?

I'm waiting to get overtime for all the hours over 40 per week that I worked while employed as an infantry soldier. I mean, the federal government wouldn't force rules on the private sector that it wouldn't hold itself to right?

Most of the federal civilian workforce is exempt.

I am at about 50 hours minimum but I get in there and get rolling and the time just flies by.

This thread makes me feel super blessed to be making my own hours, without a daily commute, other than the walk from our bedroom to the office, with fairly regular half day lunches. Amway rocks!
