How about letting the kids pick or at least come up with ideas? We did that for T Ball and they finally agreed on Stingers after some really interesting names.

Been there, tried that and failed miserably. The ideas I got were stuff like "The Blues Clues", "The He-Mans", "The Pokemons", etc. I wanted something cool - something that when I talked about it with other adults wasn't embarassing sounding. My first team was "The Warriors" after the movie and my second team is "The Furies" and my youngest son isn't old enough, but his team's name will be most certainly be a name of another one of the gangs from The Warriors movie. I suggested "The Orphans", but my wife didn't like that too much.
